Packable protection
The Ortles Tirol Wool Responsive Skirt is a windproof, water-repellent skirt that makes a very warm, versatile and easily packable layer. The lightweight, nylon stretch fabrics and hybrid stretch padding give it a very comfortable fit. And it has an additional PFC-free durable water-repellent finish.
Thermoreactive insulation
Its TirolWool® insulation is made with wool sourced from Tirolean mountain sheep – the mountain environment produces a wool with higher insulation properties. We blend the wool with Responsive polyester fibres, enhanced with thermoreactive minerals. These minerals are able to recycle far-infrared (FIR) energy back to the body to stimulate your circulation and oxygen flow, benefitting performance and recovery. As a result, it also keeps you warm and comfortable for longer. The high wool content means that it will help keep your body core and upper legs warm even when wet.
There is an ergonomic fitted waist with stretch inserts and the well-designed side zip makes it easy to put on and take off, or to access your tights or trousers underneath. It also doubles as a generous ventilation opening.
